A dry track, a wet track, a wet track, each of these conditions greatly influences the hierarchy on the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli for the Emilia-Romagna MotoGP Grand Prix!
For the moment, we haven't seen a dry track, but it was clear that on a wet track and on a wet track the Ducati seem unbeatable, unlike the struggling Yamaha. Ironically, the provisional classification at the end of the first three free practice sessions will constrain the two championship leaders, fabio quartararo et Francis Bagnaia, to compete in Q1!
Only those are in fact prequalified for Q2 Johann zarco, Jorge Martin, Jack Miller, Miguel Oliveira, Pol Espargaro, Franco Morbidelli, Aleix Espargaro, Danilo Petrucci et Luca marini, and everyone has this 4-minute FP30 to adapt to the new conditions of a track which, this time, is the driest that the drivers have experienced since the start of the weekend: for the first time, we should be able to consider slicks!
Temperatures are now 17° in the air and 16° on the asphalt, while the sky remains completely cloudy.
By the time the 24 pilots (Lorenzo Savadori et Michele Pirro being wildcards for Aprilia and Ducati) are preparing for this last free practice session, let's enjoy these few live moments thanks to the official website MotoGP.com :

For the moment, no one has chosen slicks.

Many drivers decide to return to their box after just one lap while Johann zarco set the benchmark in 1'41.238 on rain tires.
Slicks? Nope! 🛑@ValeYellow46 pits immediately after heading out on track with slick tires fitted 👀#EmiliaRomagnaGP 🏁 pic.twitter.com/G44Uf8vbx2

The first drivers come out on slicks after 10 minutes.

Iker Lecuona, on slicks, makes a minor mistake at turn #2 while Michele Pirro places the first motorcycle on slick tires 1,8 seconds behind the time of Johann zarco.
Enea Bastianini, on slicks, also falls without gravity, like Marc Marquez, Michele Pirro and Joan Mir also in slicks!
It's not easy out there! ⚠️@eneabastianini demonstrates the tricky conditions! 😮#EmiliaRomagnaGP 🏁 pic.twitter.com/oOmpDPMLpH

The verdict seems clear but 15 minutes from the checkered flag, Francis Bagnaia, also on slicks, still took third place in the session. Three minutes later, the Ducati rider set the best time of the session in 1'39.631 then 1'38.469!
Slicks are the way to go! 🔝@PeccoBagnaia has got enough temperature to make them work 🔥#EmiliaRomagnaGP 🏁 pic.twitter.com/TeasSE6kDi

George Martin loses the front of his GP 21 at turn #15, just before Alex Marquez do the same at turn #2.
Iker Lecuona climbs into 2nd position, Pecco Bagnaia improves in 1'37.535, Enea Bastianini falls again, this time at turn #2.
Iker Lecuona made the Tech3 colors shine by achieving the best time of the session, in 1'37.441.

fabio quartararo climbs back into third position on an increasingly dry track.
With the first three in the standings in Q1, it promises to be lively... when at the last minute, Jack Miller finally comes out of his box to take third position.
Fastest in the patchy conditions! 💨@LecuonaIker lines himself up nicely for #MotoGP Q1 very shortly! 😎#EmiliaRomagnaGP 🏁 pic.twitter.com/pB4zGVPJEy
