Clearly, everything is going badly at Honda at the moment: After the injuries to Marc Márquez and Cal Crutchlow, and, consequently, the absences of the latter, it is now the turn of Stefan Bradl to have to withdraw at the end of FP1 of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
The German pilot suffers from pain in his right arm.
Following this package, only motorcycles Takaaki Nakagami et Alex Marquez remain on track, a situation never seen before!
Stefan bradl : " Unfortunately, I still have problems with my right arm and am not able to ride in a safe and consistent manner. I spoke with my doctor and we had planned a small surgery to clean out the nerve before this weekend, but when they opened my arm they saw that the situation was more complicated than we previously thought. »
« I came to Misano with the intention of running because my doctor told me it would be possible to race. But in this situation I don't feel like I can drive safely for the length of an entire race, and together with HRC we have decided to take some rest this week to recover before Barcelona. »
Due to ongoing issues with his right arm hindering his ability to ride in a safe and consistent manner, HRC and @stefanbradl have together decided to sit out the remainder of the #EmiliaRomagnaGP.
