This Sunday October 24, 2021, Jack Miller answered journalists' questions from the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, at the end of the Gran Premio Nolan del Made in Italy e dell'Emilia-Romagna.

We went to listen (via teleconferencing software) to the words of the Australian driver, victim of a fall during the race while he was protecting his teammate Pecco Bagnaia attacks from the future winner of the event, Marc Márquez.

As usual, we report here the words of Jack Miller without the slightest formatting.

Jack, what do you think of Fabio Quartararo's title?

« It's fantastic, and even the celebrations right after the race were absolutely incredible to see. He really deserves his title, because he has won five races this year, and he has been the most consistent of us. He also knew how to keep his back during races which were going badly for him and Yamaha. I am very happy for them, even if the idea was to delay the deadline as much as possible. Fabio is a good young guy, so I'm very happy for him. »

Fabio may have won the riders' title, but Ducati is well placed in both the constructors' and teams' championships. Do you think you can win the title in these two rankings?

« I think so yes. The dynamics are in our favor, even in the teams' championship where we are still ten points behind [the official Ducati team is 13 points behind the official Yamaha team in this ranking, Editor's note], while in that of the manufacturers we are in the lead. »

« That's the goal in any case, and in that sense it's a shame that I crashed today. This makes me miss a lot of points, and I find myself in fifth place in the general classification among the drivers. But count on us to fight until the end. »

“Count on us to fight until the end”
