Tight gaps, the last going first and vice versa, this second visit of MotoGP to Misano does not engender melancholy. Routine will definitely never be in place in this very special season. A suspense that we find in this Q1 of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. Big names with beautiful bikes are in the running. But only two pilots will be able to continue the adventure...

This Q1 is high-level. We find there in fact the absolute leader of the championship Andrea Dovizioso, then the third in the general classification in the person of Jack Miller. Miguel Oliveira will be a strong representative KTM, as alex rins who has the weapons not to stop at this stage on the handlebars of his Suzuki. And then we can count on Johann zarco so as not to be counted out...

This is the seventh qualifying session of the season and so far we have had four pole position winners. Before knowing the verdict of the Emile Romagne Grand Prix, we must go through this Q1. It's almost 27° in the air and a little more 41° on a track bathed in the sun. A quarter of an hour of jousting will determine two pilots who will continue the adventure.

Apart Johann zarco in medium, everyone is in soft rear. In 1'32.141, Alex Espargaro signs the first reference with its Aprilia. Olive tree follows with the KTM Tech3.

The Portuguese accelerates in 1'31.875, ahead of the same Aprilia official who also drops below the 1'32 mark. Miller and for the moment the first eliminated. Dovizioso is… last!

lecuona suit zarco and slams a 1'31.715 in front Dovizioso which follows at 86 thousandths. Thus ends the first assault. The ultimate is to be continued. Alex Marquez brings up the rear 1s3 from the head of operations...

The last five minutes have begun. Zarco, Miller et Kidneys cannot stop there... The French attack improves its sectors but falls in the very last...

Miller as for him, he managed a 1'31.559 which put him in the lead. The Australian continues his effort. Alex Espargaro crash at turn 14. Under the checkered flag, it's Miller who keeps his advantage. Dovizioso also escapes while zarco, who started again finished fourth.

lecuona is third in the exercise. Olive tree is fifth and Kidneys is only eighth.
