This morning when they woke up, the immaculate blue sky must have brought a smile to the riders of the Emilia-Romagna MotoGP Grand Prix before they discovered that, despite the difference in warm-up times, the track conditions were still very autumnal, with 12° in the air and 9° on the asphalt which was still wet when the Moto3s set off at 9:00 a.m.
In these conditions, while the track of the Misano circuit gradually continues to dry, the warm up of the premier category will be used above all to try to choose its slick tires for a race where the opposition will try to break theDucati hegemony at home displayed yesterday in qualifying.
Temperatures are now 15° in the air and 11° on the ground, as the 23 pilots prepare for this warm-up session.

When the red lights go out... Alex Marquez sets off first and we immediately see that most of the drivers use rain tires but that a few daring ones have directly chosen slicks, like Johann Zarco, Luca Marini, Takaaki Nakagami and Francesco Bagnaia.
Iker Lecuona recorded the first reference in 1'41.186 on rain tires followed by Takaaki Nakagami in slicks.
In the following passages, the Japanese driver recorded 1'38.583 then 1'36.234: the verdict is clear!

In extremis, Jack Miller snatches the 3rd time of the session, while we notice that, as he declared yesterday, fabio quartararo is the only driver to try the medium rear…
It doesn't get much bigger than this! 🙌
