Marco Bezzecchi is at home in Misano. A rider with the Ducati VR46 team and a long-time member of the academy, the “Bez” comes here in search of speed, of course, but also to celebrate the passion for Italian motorcycling. After a disappointing weekend in Aragon, he was able to find his colours again – notably yellow – during the Practice, with an encouraging seventh place. On a track with enormous grip, the Ducati Desmosedici seems a cut above the competition.
A day that makes you happy: this is how we could describe Friday of Marco Bezzecchi in Misano. With his fans, he was able to start his “home” round as he should. « A very positive day: I had a good start from the first lap, despite my position. The sensations were very good and it gave me even more energy for the afternoon. I am happy, let's keep working to reach the first two places tomorrow" he declared.

It must be recognized that it is much more convincing than at Aragon, where he struggled during the tests, before bouncing back – somewhat – in the race. “Compared to Aragon, here I feel better in terms of grip. Everything is much more balanced between the front and the back and I suffer much less » he added.
However, it is impossible to deny the gap that separated him from his friend Pecco Bagnaia, more than half a second. He knows that there is time to find, and perhaps even knows where he is. "We need to take a step forward in the final corner." he said. But fortunately, he will be able to count on his supporters, present in large numbers in Misano: this is what helps him, and what allows him to improve. "The public in my favor gives me a real advantage" he concluded.
