Misano

The past Saturday gave us thrilling qualifying at the Misano Marco Simoncelli World Circuit, where the Grand Prix of San Marino and Riviera di Rimini is scheduled for this Sunday, the 14th stage of MotoGP 2022. The MotoGP riders took to the track first with rain on an asphalt which got wet immediately after Q1 then after a few laps, the slicks were favored on an asphalt which was not completely dry, giving rise to an exciting spectacle.

The winner of the joust was one of the specialists of the genre, Jack Miller, who thus achieved the second pole of his career on a Ducati. A brand that places four motorcycles in the first four positions, with Pecco Bagnaia second, but we remember that he will be penalized by 3 positions on the grid for having slowed down Marquez and Bastianini in FP1.

Third beat for Enea Bastianini, with the Gresini Team driver who preceded a good Marco Bezzecchi, rookie of the Ducati Mooney VR46 Racing Team. It precedes the Aprilia of Maverick Vinales and the Ducati of Johann zarco (Pramac Racing) like his teammate Luca marini.

Only eighth in Misano was the leader of the world ranking fabio quartararo, which beat the Aprilia ofAleix Espargarò, the KTM of Miguel Oliveira, his teammate Franco Morbidelli and the Suzuki ofalex rins.

They did not pass the trap of Q1 among others: George Martin (Ducati Pramac) who will start 13th, Michele Pirro (Ducati tester and Aruba wild card) 17th and Andrea Dovizioso (Yamaha WithU) for its last MotoGP race 18th. The best rookie will therefore once again have been Marco Bezzecchi (Ducati Mooney VR46 Racing Team) fourth, followed by Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati Gresini) 14th, Darryn Binder (Yamaha WithU RNF) 21rd, Remy Gardner (KTM Team Tech 3) 24th and Raul Fernandez (KTM Team Tech 3) 25th.
