Ten seconds is exactly how long the MotoGP Grand Prix of San Marino and Rimini Riviera lasted for Johann zarco !

Starting sixth on the starting grid, the Pramac driver completely missed his start to enter the first turn in 16th position.

Unfortunately, he then found himself in the path of Brad Binder whose rear of the KTM came into contact with the Frenchman's Ducati. Or vice versa. If the South African driver remained on his wheels, this was not the case for the Desmosedici #5 which carried away in its fall Michele Pirro et Pol Espargaro.

Exactly an hour after this incident, Johann Zarco appeared before the press calm and determined, and already ready to turn the page in view of the official MotoGP tests which will take place on the same Misano circuit next Tuesday and Wednesday.

Johann zarco : " At least I will have good energy for Tuesday! I'm not tired from this race (laughs). Overall it was a difficult weekend: we didn't start well on Friday and we couldn't sort things out. We tried but we couldn't find a solution, so it was difficult on the bike all weekend. Qualifying wasn't bad but I knew the race was going to be tough. I missed my start but it wasn't dramatic, like in Austria, but clearly Binder arrived very quickly in turn 1 and touched my handlebars. I didn't expect him to get there because the place was pretty small and I fell. I think I won Pirro and Espargaró. No injuries, I was lucky. It's a page to turn. Tuesday and Wednesday will be good for riding and working on what we didn't find and understanding why it was so complicated to set up the bike for me here this weekend.
So I'm disappointed but it pushes me to take another step forward to feel even more strong. I try to do it, I train for it, but we will also try other things on the bike to give me more feeling and possibilities. »
