To fully understand why the Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera still enjoys a special appeal in the heart of the MotoGP paddock, it is enough to take note of one statistic: 18 of the 24 Italian riders present this year in world championship are born or live within a radius of less than 50 kilometers from the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. The Italian Grand Prix takes place at Mugello, but the home Grand Prix is Misano, a stone's throw from the Adriatic! As for fans of a Valentino Rossi residing in Tavullia, located 15 kilometers from the circuit, there is no point in drawing you a picture... colored yellow, of course.

In short, in Misano, it's a party and, for three years now, this has been reflected, among other things, by the splendid posters ofAldo Drudi, also in charge of decorating the borders of the circuit and the helmets of the Italian champion.

Aldo Drudi : " The 2019 Grand Prix poster is based on the graphic characteristics of previous editions. For the first time, the subject, the pilot, is identifiable. On the occasion of Valentino Rossi's 40th birthday, I wanted to pay tribute to him by reconfiguring and hand-coloring a beautiful photo taken by Gigi Soldano. I used the shadow projected on the asphalt to insert into the poster the texture which will be reproduced this year on the emergency exits of the circuit. #RideOnColors highlights the work that is being done on the asphalt of the circuit. This will compete in a competition immersed in color, composing an original racing graphic made in Motor Valley. »

But this year, colors will also invade the streets of the city center of Cattolica which will be personalized with MotoGP colors. Thus, Via Dante and part of Via Curiel will resemble the mythical Brutapela where the choreography will be dominated by the yellow color of the "Doctor", while the red of Via Fiume will warm the soul of the Ducatisti and the orange of Piazza Primo Maggio and the rest of Calle Curiel will be the counterpart for Marc Márquez fans.

A kaleidoscope of colors that will get everyone in the mood from Thursday September 12, when the Motor Beach Circus will be officially opened in Cattolica, with music provided by DJs on every street corner from 18 p.m. , and as a highlight the concert by the “Roxy Bar”, a tribute group to Vasco Rossi, from 21:30 p.m. in Piazzale Maggio.

Also note the presentation in the city center by the students of Motor Park Cattolica (where Rossi did his first races) on Saturday at 18:00 p.m. and 21:00 p.m. from Piazzale Maggio and in Via Curiel and Viale Dante.

The countdown to the third edition of the MBC is therefore on and we will try to bring you closer to some of these activities as part of the official events of The Riders' Land Experience.
