Five Ducati Desmosedicis filled the top five positions in Practice for the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix at Misano, with Pecco Bagnaia leading the way. The double world champion responded to the controversy surrounding his incident with Alex Marquez in Aragon, setting the fastest time in 1'30.685.
Marc Marquez, very comfortable on the Ducati Desmosedici GP23 of Gresini Racing team, finished second just 0.185s behind Bagnaia. Championship leader, George Martin (Ducati Pramac), took third place after dominating the morning session.
Franco Morbidelli (Ducati Pramac) and Enea Bastianini (Ducati Factory) completed the top five, confirming Ducati's dominance. Pedro Acosta, rookie at KTM, broke this hegemony by taking sixth place despite a fall.
The VR46 Racing Team driver, Marco Bezzecchi, ranked seventh, followed by Maverick Vinales (Aprilia). fabio quartararo performed well with a ninth place, thus registering Yamaha as the only Japanese bike in the top 10, just ahead Jack Miller (KTM).

To Honda, it's a disaster: the best pilot, Johann zarco (LCR), finished only 15th. Takaaki Nakagami et Luca marini took 20th and 22th places. Joan mir, suffering from intestinal problems, also had a difficult day.
Pilots like Brad Binder, Aleix Espargaro, the wild card Pol Espargaro, a Fabio DiGiannantonio (who is still suffering from his injured shoulder) will have to go through Q1 to hope to enter Q2.
Ducati looks in excellent shape for the race MotoGP of this weekend, with bagnaia in the lead and an armada of Desmosedici ready to fight for the top spots.
