Misano presents itself again this Sunday to experience the seventh of the 15 meetings planned on the calendar for this first year of the world after. A week ago, the Yamahas regained their splendor, a return to form that Franco Morbidelli punctuated with a victory which constituted the Petronas rider's first achievement at this level. Will we have the same scenario in this Emilia Romagna Grand Prix which therefore follows that of San Marino? Nothing is less obvious...
Certainly, the tires brought by Michelin will be the same as the bumps that dot a circuit with a revised surface. But the experience of a meeting is acquired and it was strengthened by a day of testing which allowed some to find solutions to their concerns. This would be the case ofAndrea Dovizioso, who changed his tune about his chances of winning with his Ducati a title race that he now leads ahead fabio quartararo for six points.
Nothing is acquired
The Frenchman, in fact, regained confidence and discovered the many new features brought by Yamaha during this test. How many will remain on the Frenchman's M1, determined to take back what he left in the gravel trap of the last race, namely the lead in the championship?
Maverick Vinales also wants answers and consistency so as not to lose any more great opportunities to assert itself as one of the favorites for the crown. Drivers from other brands, Suzuki à Honda Passing by Aprilia et KTM have also worked on technical developments that could improve their ordinary. So much so that the hierarchy could well become even tighter, or even experience some changes.
So as not to miss anything from this stage which marks the halfway point of this crazy campaign, here are the timetables…
