It's done ! as hoped and also expected, Jack Miller and Ducati have agreed to continue their collaboration within the Pramac satellite team. The affair which at first seemed obvious then turned into Tantalus' torment when, in Austria, a vague hypothesis of Lorenzo instead of the Australian came to light. But reason prevailed. And the Australian will not take revenge for a furtive disrepute by going to KTM which opened its arms to him…

The soap opera is over. Ducati confirms all its riders for the next MotoGP season. Not only in the official team, which had already been renewed with Andrea Dovizioso et Danilo Petrucci, but also in the Pramac satellite team. Jack Miller was still the missing piece that has just been placed in the puzzle of Borgo Panigale. “ I am very happy to have reached this agreement », Comments the Australian pilot. “ Pramac Racing is a team that made me feel comfortable from the start and my relationship with Ducati has always been very close. I will have an official bike again and I will do my best to achieve great results. I would like to thank Ducati and my team for the excellent work they have done so farnt”.

The Tuscan team firmly believed in Miller since, two seasons ago, he had been left on foot by Honda who had taken him to MotoGP directly from Moto3 in the distant year 2016. And Jack, over time, proved able to repay this consideration with the results, as evidenced by the two podiums already won this season, in Texas and in Brno.

« Our main objective is to develop young riders and give them the chance to one day ride the official Ducati »insisted the head of the Pramac team, Francesco Guidotti . « Jack shows great talent and his current position in the driver rankings confirms this. We are proud to have him with us again next season and now we want to stay focused on our work in order to achieve other important results this season ».

The Ducati sports director, Paolo ciabatti adds: " We are really pleased to have reached an agreement with Pramac Racing which will allow this factory supported team to field the Desmosedici GP20 for Jack and Pecco Bagnaia next season. For the first time, Ducati will have four identical motorcycles in MotoGP, two for the official Ducati team and two for Pramac Racing ».

« This exceptional effort will help us collect and share more information and improve the development process to achieve results again. But also to stimulate fair and positive competition between our pilots. We are very pleased that Jack will continue with us next year, as he has made steady progress since joining us in 2018, and we thank Pramac Racing for their continued commitment to Ducati ».
