Prima Pramac Racing is currently looking for riders to make up their duo for their first season with Yamaha in 2025. Team owner Paolo Campinoti revealed in an interview with TNT Sports that he is considering experienced riders for lead this new project. Among the candidates, three names particularly stand out: Jack Miller, Miguel Oliveira and Fabio Di Giannantonio, all at the end of their contracts with their current teams.

On the criteria for selecting pilots, the boss of Pramac Racing commented : " for the project we are undertaking, we need experienced riders to bring the bike to the level it should be. The choice will be one of the first steps in the collaboration with Yamaha  : " We will make this choice together. Campinoti stressed the importance of choosing drivers with solid experience in the premier category in order to maximize the performance of the new collaboration between First Pramac Racing et Yamaha . The final decision will be made in close collaboration with Yamaha , taking into account the drivers currently available on the market MotoGP.
