Bagnaia Netherlands

History repeats itself, over and over again. Since the beginning of the season, Pecco Bagnaia has been holding the same discourse, and the analysis following the Dutch Grand Prix was no exception. Indeed, the Italian finished third, certainly, but with a race time higher than last year, on the one hand, and, on the other, very far behind Marco Bezzecchi, not to mention his winning teammate. Bagnaia can't take it anymore, and still doesn't understand how to progress with the Ducati Desmosedici GP25.

Every time he goes out, it's as if he can't fight. Once again, he delivered a bitter statement. « I accept a third place like Aragon's better than today'sWe were the fastest, but I can't push as much as I would like and that's a real shame. I was riding fast, but when I get close to the rider in front, I must be taking too many risks to try to overtake him, because he is getting closer and I am moving awayIt's a complicated situation; the bike itself is complicated. Yesterday, today and at Mugello, we had slower races than last year." he asserted for Sky Sports.

He, who had been undefeated on this track since 2022, was unable to demonstrate his exemplary consistency. « In the race, I was quite fast, but I lacked consistency.I do some fast laps at the beginning, then I struggle, then I get back up to speed. Today I started well, I had a good pace like in Mugello. I could have fought for the victory, but I can't prove it. I always give everything I have, but we can't go all the way, it's difficult to understand and accept. In the race, we are fast, then we fall to 5th/6th place. We lose a few tenths of a second on the driver in front and we stay there. It's a shame, because we know the potential and we don't get what we want from the bike. » he added.

Once again, he regrets not having a GP24, the same one that allowed him to win 11 Grands Prix in 2024: « The track was in the same conditions last year, the tires were the same, but with this bike you can't do what Alex Marquez does.Marc is also struggling, but he still manages to win because he rides better. In the traction phase, the bike is nervous. This is a step backward from 2024" he concluded.
