At the recent Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin, Pecco Bagnaia expressed reservations about the level of aggression seen among the leading drivers during the race, including Marc Marquez. Pecco Bagnaia said in Texas on Todocircuito having noticed “ a certain aggressiveness in the group » in which he was involved with Jorge Martin, Pedro Acosta et Marc Marquez, and in his opinion “ the most practical thing would have been to manage more calmly ", to avoid premature tire wear and not engage in a war of overtaking which ended up wreaking havoc on the course of the race for several drivers, including Pecco himself.
En parallèle, Marc Marquez, engaged in the same battle, shared his experience of the race, which was not without problems, choosing his words carefully so as not to reopen the still fresh wound of the regretted clash between the multiple world champions in Portimao : “ we have done an entertaining race, even if I had to come back after losing places. I felt pretty good, although I had some issues with the front brake ", said Marquez, explaining that some of his overruns were not deliberate but caused by technical problems.

These technical difficulties culminated in turn 11, where Marquez attempted to take the lead in the race to test if this affected brake performance. “ The front brake lever has failed, I tried to brake several times without success, which increased my speed.
