Peter Acosta

After a sensational start to MotoGP in Qatar, marked by a daring overtake on Marc Marquez, the GASGAS Tech3 team is eager to see Pedro Acosta, its young prodigy, shine on the demanding Portimao circuit this weekend. Acosta made a remarkable debut in MotoGP, notably making his way to Q2 and lining up eighth on the starting grid.

In the Sprint race, he worked his way up to eighth place, before showing off his offensive skills in the Grand Prix. Starting tenth, he quickly doubled Aleix Espargaro et Fabio DiGiannantonio, then the brothers Marquez. Regretting handlebar ergonomics that paralyzed his forearm and although his daring style affected the longevity of his tires, ultimately placing him back in eighth position, his audacity was palpable.
