Guintoli

World Superbike champion, former MotoGP rider, BMW test rider… and soon to be a marathon runner in a leather suit. In 2026, Sylvain Guintoli will take part in the London Marathon to take on a challenge far greater than any he has faced on the track: running in tribute to his son Luca, who passed away from cancer in 2025.

He will not be alone. By his side will be two of his daughters, Alice (20 years) and Layla (18 years old), will form a close-knit family team behind a vital cause: raising funds for the childhood cancer charities PASIC and Young Lives vs Cancer.

With evident emotion, Guintoli confided in crash.net :

« When Luca's diagnosis was made, Everything has changed for usThere are some amazing charities that support children with cancer and their families, and PASIC has been there for us from the very beginning. They still help us today. »

He adds : " We only truly realize the extent of the work done by these charitable organizations when we need it. Their support was immense. »

This marathon is a story of gratitude. But also of a fight that continues, in the name of all children and families. struck by this tragedy.
