The small village in the Marche region, a few kilometers from Pesaro and Urbino, has decided to celebrate its champion. It's because of Red that the village is known throughout the world. He will therefore organize a big party in his honor before the Grand Prix in Misano. On the occasion of his 40th anniversary, he will be symbolically handed over the keys to the city. It was the mayor of Tavullia who announced it on social networks with these words:

For having given us indescribable emotions in more than 25 years of career, for having brought millions of people closer to a wonderful sport like motorcycling, for making us even more proud to be Italian and for making Tavullia known all over the world. For these reasons and many others, we have decided, together with the Marche Region, to thank you in an official ceremony to be held on May 19 in your country. During this #TavulliaVale, together with many friends, we will give you the keys to the city. The program for the day has not yet been revealed. However, it appears certain that the reigning world champion, Francis Bagnaia, and all the pilots of the VR46 Riders Academy will be there, as well as some adversaries and friends met by Valentino Rossi during his very long career.
