Marc Marquez

Marc Marquez has entered into a process of rebuilding his right arm which should take him back to his Honda RC213V before the end of this year. At least it is an ambition which was only a hope before a medical examination with encouraging results, six weeks after the fourth and last operation on the right humerus in less than two years. The eight-time World Champion has returned to training but also has a social life which two videos illustrate. On one of them we see him wearing the splint. But do not worry…

Indeed, the first video illustrates an event organized in his honor by Repsol before this famous medical examination. An event celebrating his 10-year career, marked by 6 world titles, 59 victories, 99 podiums and 62 pole positions. Sorry! The Spanish energy supplier, whose motivation to pursue an adventure with Honda in MotoGP started at the time when he could still identify himself as an oilman, wanted to mark the occasion. And he succeeded.

Marc Marquez first received a warm tribute from the company's many employees, who witnessed his words speaking about his recovery, his memories and his feelings before discovering the surprise gift.

Repsol offers a nice gift to Marc Marquez

In front of the staff present, Marc Marquez unveiled, with the Madrid painter Manu Campa - known for his large format hyper-realistic works - a canvas 2,6 meters high by 1,5 meters wide on which an image of the team's driver is immortalized Repsol Honda on its 213 RC2022V. An exclusive piece for a decade engraved in stone in the paddock of Grand Prizes.

The celebration takes place before the medical examination, hence the presence of the splint. This is no longer relevant, and the same Marc Marquez, after painting, showed that he developed his artistic culture with music in this concert where he reveals himself with his right arm well and truly free to move. Marc Marquez has six weeks of work ahead of him in the gym before returning to the Ruber Clinic at the end of August, when Dr. Sánchez Sotelo will again examine the evolution of his humerus and decide on the next steps in his convalescence.
