Misano 2007, Friday afternoon: The threatening sky turns black and a violent storm like one can experience at the end of summer breaks out.
Quickly, the boxes furthest down the straight are invaded by water, then the circuit too.
We try to prevent water from entering the boxes but it's to no avail. It's not cold and it doesn't last very long. We prefer to laugh about it…
10 years later, rain and Misano were once again a bad combination, with a record 140 falls occurring during the weekend.
This year, we redid the surface to make it less slippery in the wet. As a result, it is also in the dry and we are already anticipating new records.
The various forecasts currently predict a dry weekend. We'll see…
