No summer break for the terrible news which reminds us of a decidedly sad time. Barcelona and its region were victims of terrorist attacks which sowed desolation and caused numerous victims. Facts which obviously did not leave the Grand Prix drivers indifferent. The Spaniards were the first to react on the web.
Brothers I will espargaro, Jorge Lorenzo, brothers Márquez or even Dani Pedrosa notably expressed their emotion and solidarity. And the list is not exhaustive. It will be recalled that a van attack was carried out yesterday, Thursday, in the center of Barcelona. It left 13 people dead and more than 100 people injured.
Furthermore, a new attack took place in Cambrils, a seaside resort located 120 kilometers south of Barcelona, around 2 a.m. this Friday. Six civilians and a police officer were injured in this attack. The police said on their Twitter account that they considered this attack to be linked to the Barcelona attack.
