This Thursday, November 4, 2021, Luca marini answered questions from journalists from the Algarve International Autodrome in Portimão, as a prelude to the Grande Prémio Brembo do Algarve.

We went to listen (via teleconferencing software) to the words of the Italian driver, who currently occupies 20th place in the championship.

As usual, we report here the words of Luca marini without the slightest formatting.

Luca, you recently changed your training to improve your running longevity. Do you already feel an improvement in this area?

« I don't think it's been long enough since I changed my training to notice any changes. But I still think that I'm doing a good job and that I'm already better prepared compared to the start of the season. That said this weekend the temperatures here in Portimão are going to be lower so I think it will be easier for everyone. However, I hope that I will be able to be strong throughout the race. »

Do you feel better prepared to race this weekend in Portimão compared to your first Grand Prix here at the start of the season?

« I clearly feel better prepared for this second round of the year in Portimão, but I think that again it will be the same for everyone. It's clear that my bike has improved a lot since the first race of the year here, as have my settings. So we'll see what happens, but I remember that at the start of the season I had one of my best qualifications here with an eighth place on the grid if I remember correctly. »

« My first objective this weekend will therefore be to at least repeat this result, or even improve it. Then I will aim to have a better race than the first. I especially want to close the gap to the front in the first race, because I remember finishing 29 seconds behind the winner at the time, or something like that. So I would like to be closer, regardless of the end result. »
