Franco, you almost missed Q2 and you almost won pole position! Tell us…

Franco Morbidelli : « Yes, it was a difficult day but nevertheless positive because it ended well. This morning we tried some things on the bike to see if we could improve my feeling, but we tried something that I didn't like so we continued to work in Q1 and especially in FP4. But we also tried various things in Q1 and I saw that I was able to be fast. I did 39.2 but I was at the limit and was just able to move into Q2 at the end with Brad Binder not being so fast in the fourth sector. At that moment, I was worried but in Q2 I felt good and I had a good feeling to attack. In the end, I almost got this pole position and I'm very happy. Thanks again to the team because they worked very well. We were going in the wrong direction but found the right path pretty quickly. »
