MotoGP Portugal J3, Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati/10) is not happy!

In Portugal, Fabio Di Giannantonio concludes a mixed weekend. He who revealed himself at the end of the 2023 season had all the trouble in the world to put a profitable strategy in place, from Friday to Sunday. He was much less incisive than in Qatar, that’s for sure. In 10th place, he is not happy, because he knows his potential. Another missed opportunity for the new VR46 Racing Team driver, who is therefore experiencing a fairly difficult start to the year and marked by falls.

Not the best result for Fabio Di Giannantonio on this Grand Prix Sunday. However, he had given a glimpse of very good things in Qatar, at least more beautiful than his teammate Marco Bezzecchi. But this time, Saturday (Q1 then fall), until Sunday, nothing went as he intended. “I'm not very happy with the race, certainly the potential that we could express today was much higher, but we made a mistake which slowed us down in our return to the front” he confided at the end of this Grand Prix.

 

 

Eyes turned towards the USA

 

We know what he's capable of, because he's already done it once. He must adjust his sights, and also, he must adapt to a Desmosedici GP23 apparently less docile than its predecessor. « On the one hand, knowing what the problem was helps us and so, given that we are only on the second race with the team and getting to know each other, we go to the USA ready to do well. Overall, the results are rather positive; from Friday to today, we have taken some steps forward. » he added.

 

 

Fabio Di Giannantonio knows this better than anyone; his place is expensive, very expensive, so he will have to unlock performance to keep it and sustainably prolong his dream.
