Having barely stepped off his Aprilia RS-GP of the Aprilia Racing factory team after finishing 3rd in the sprint race of the 2025 Portuguese Grand Prix at Portimão, the poleman Marco Bezzecchi spoke in front of the cameras of the official website MotoGP.com by deciding to see the glass as half full rather than half empty, no doubt thinking about 3rd place in the championship…

🎤 Marco, what a remarkable race, undoubtedly with the best seat in the house to watch the battle unfold. Did this Sprint go as you had imagined?

Marco Bezzecchi: "Well, yes, overall, yes. I wanted to stay in the leading group, but unfortunately, Pedro and Alex were a bit better than me today in the Sprint."
I did my best to stay with them and maybe get involved in the fight, but I wasn't fast enough.
We must therefore continue to work for tomorrow, and try to take another step forward.
But a podium finish is always very positive, so I'm happy! Thanks to the guys at Aprilia, the factory, and all the fans!
