The nine-time World Champion came to visit the Ducati team which features Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi. The Doctor honors with his presence this fifth round of the 2022 MotoGP season but also and above all the first European meeting. Vale joins his troops as boss of the VR46 structure, which is doing very well in Moto2 and showing great effort in the premier category.

Valentino Rossi reunited with his family in a Grand Prix paddock where he is working for the first time as team boss. This is his first visit to the championship paddock since his retirement.

Not gentle, relaxed look, yet attentive to the images offered on the television screens or even to the action at the edge of the track: Valentino Rossi catalyzed the attention on Saturday, being in close contact with Luca Marini and Marco Bezzecchi. The Doctor's experience and charisma are useful to the team and drivers involved in the wet Portuguese weekend.

It is a pleasure for the entire paddock to see the motorcycle icon again: it would be even better to admire him in the saddle, an option currently not studied and yet dreamed of by enthusiasts and professionals. Speaking of work, number 46 continues to race, with cars, and often trains on two wheels. For him, speed is not a simple profession, quite the contrary.

In addition to Portimao, Valentino has planned two or three additional visits to the Grand Prix paddock, an excursion that will depend on his racing schedule with the WRT team in the Fanatec GT World Challenge. The Italian Grand Prix scheduled for May 29 will be another appointment indicated for 'Vale' on his calendar, but not the San Marino Grand Prix, another of the MotoGP meetings that Valentino wanted to attend but which coincides with the Hockenheim race of the said championship.
