Hervé Poncharal

Here we are ! Hervé Poncharal like all of us have been impatiently waiting for since the 2021 finale in Valencia last November, and now it's fast approaching... Ladies and gentlemen, the 2022 MotoGP season is about to begin and at Tech3, we know we'll be more delighted. The boss's mood is in unison and there are good reasons to display his satisfaction: an RC16 evolved like two long-toothed rookies are in the starting blocks. Can not wait for Friday !

It is indeed the Friday 4 February that the hostilities will truly begin with the first free tests which, we hope on the French side, will confirm the promises made during the off-season... The Moto2 World Champion Remy gardner, who just turned 24, will make his debut in the category MotoGP with Raul fernandez, Moto2 world vice-champion and Spanish sensation. The Australian will continue to ride with the number 87, while the Madrilenian has chosen this year the number 25, a number formerly worn by a certain Maverick Vinales.

« Tech3 KTM Factory Racing is more ready than ever to fly to Qatar for the opening round of the 2022 MotoGP season " welcomes Hervé Poncharal. " Both Remy and Raul did a lot of laps during winter testing, with an interesting race pace for two rookies, even if they still have a lot to learn. Tests are tests, but nothing can match the race, and the next step is to see them on the starting grid and see how they perform over a race distance ».

Hervé Poncharal: “the 16 RC2022 is a big improvement”

« KTM engineers, led by Fabiano Sterlacchini, have done a great job this winter developing the RC16 bike, and the 2022 model is a big improvement over the package we had last year, so I can't wait to see our rookies in action when the light turns green on Sunday » adds the tricolor.

Hervé Poncharal finished : " there is a great atmosphere within the team because the two drivers were able to learn and discover their new teams, and the feeling is good on both sides of the box. The whole team is really motivated to kick off this new season, so let's see what we can achieve together this year! ».
