« Aggression is key. I worked a lot on this », he explains in the Losail paddock. “ It is crucial to be offensive, especially at the start of a race. But it also concerns the driving style. Personally, I'm inclined towards smooth movements and find my strength in entering curves. Being too aggressive would not benefit me. So it's about having mental aggression », adds the pilot of 26 years.
Asked about the possibility of working on this aggressiveness during Supermoto training, Le “Bestia” emphasizes that it is a question of mentality. However, he emphasizes the progress made during winter testing and says his goal this year is to be at the front in every race. A method that a certain person would not shy away from George Martin who made this philosophy his trademark. The two men will be at loggerheads this year for the teammate spot Pecco Bagnaia.
