Qatar

This time, we are there and it is Qatar which, as is tradition, will begin the hostilities of this long-awaited 2022 season. A campaign which will be led by the French World Champion Fabio Quartararo who will have a lot to do to keep his crown. It will all start this weekend under the spotlights at Losail. Here are the times so you don’t miss anything…

The spotlight on the World Championship is coming back on, both literally and figuratively, as the 2022 season officially begins in Qatar, on a track near Doha which always offers a night Grand Prix. During the weekend of 4 at 6 March, the three categories of the World Championship will compete on the International Circuit of losail for the first event of the year.

fabio quartararo will be the center of all interests since he is the title holder and he is also the same one who is thinking about his future. He is not the only one while the off-season confirmed that the field was held more or less in the same second per lap for the most seasoned. This means that places will be expensive! Yamaha has nine successes in Qatar compared to five in Ducati who is promised domination this year, and three to Honda who finds Marc Marquez like a more user-friendly motorcycle.

There will be battles at all levels in Qatar

Meanwhile, the Moto2 sees a tumble Peter Acosta haloed with a crown taken into Moto3 last year after what was his first year at this level. The Ajo pilot and nugget of KTM showed during the offseason that he approached the subject without the slightest complexion. As to Moto3, we expect everything and the tenors are well aware that nothing can ever be taken for granted in this category.
