A word from a specialist... Valentino Rossi to Sky: “ They made me work hard this weekend. I've been here since Thursday evening and I've been with Morbidelli and Diggia during all the tests. The riders are in good shape and the bikes are formidable. We have progressed collectively, we can fight for the podium in all races. " He adds : " I go to the track, I observe the pilots and I see the most difficult points. I'm often with our coach and we look at the data on the computer. New drivers for the future? We started looking for new, very young drivers »
Rossi on Bagnaia : " We talked a lot yesterday. After his slip in qualifying, I haven't been able to do it yet, but I'll try to talk to him on the grid. Anyway, he'll take care of it. Until the crash, he was performing very well, the championship remains open. »
There will be one absentee on the grid:

There's less than a quarter of an hour left before the start of the MotoGP Sprint Race. The riders are on track for their formation lap. The sun has long since set, the floodlights are shining. But it still wasn't really cold in Qatar. It's currently 29 degrees in the air and 33 degrees on the asphaltAll the bikes are on the grid, we're leaving soon!

Asphalt temperatures are still quite high, although they are also significantly lower than in FP2, for example, and now allow for two options: soft and medium rear. The majority opt for the safer option with the medium, including all of the top five. But some want to try the soft rear wheel: Maverick Vinales, Johann Zarco, Alex Rins, Pedro Acosta, Luca Marini, Jack Miller, Brad Binder, Enea Bastianini et Somkiat Chantra.

Formation lap… And here we go for 11 laps! The brothers Marquez Marc in the lead takes the lead in front Quarterly.

Alex Marquez attacks his brother who puts him back in place at the end of the straight line. Morbidely pass Quartararo, Zarco is sixth, bagnaia ninth. The latter suffers. He is overtaken by By Giannantonio, Ogura and even Jorge Martin! Here he is, twelfth...

Bagnaia overtakes Zarco and moves into 10th position , always behind Ai Ogura four laps from the finish line.
Johann zarco returns to the pits, retirement for the Frenchman
Marc Marquez flies in the night of Losail, advantage over Alex more than one second. Be careful Quarterly, who is trying to catch up Morbidely for the podium. bagnaia still 10°
The soft rear tire doesn't seem to have been a good choice. Vinales must now let it pass Di Giannantonio without being able to defend oneself and a little further away Acosta loses eighth place to Ogura. Bagnaia is just behind, so he could at least get a point for the World Championship.
