From a somewhat laborious rider at his beginnings in 125 and Moto2, Johann Zarco's image has transformed in a few years into that of a promising talent in the MotoGP category.

Forgotten his age of 27 which makes Alex Rins look like a toddler, we only talk about the Tech3 driver who, after his exploits last season (and a double world champion title), is now a centerpiece for fill out the 2019 MotoGP grid…

So much so that today, the Losail paddock was buzzing with the possible arrival of the French driver alongside Marc Márquez next year.

If confirmed, this rumor would announce a team made up of a duo as explosive as they are talented, especially since Johann Zarco would certainly not let himself be intimidated by his acrobatic teammate.

Questioned on the subject during the debriefing in Hospitality Tech3 (which will be reported here in its entirety tomorrow morning), the French pilot simply replied: “Why be afraid? Being Marquez's teammate could be a good thing. And the Repsol Honda team is a kind of dream team. When I was little, I mean, from the days when I watched MotoGP, I didn't watch it much but I remember some footage of Mick Doohan. Then Valentino Rossi on Honda, and now Marquez. It’s always a great team to watch. »

Johann Zarco's future may be decided at Jerez...

“I have to wait and stay relaxed. I think above all we have to do the first three races, and then we will know. Performance (of the bike) is of course an important factor: But then you also have to see what opportunities present themselves to me. I had good tests, but having good races will make the difference. »

No confirmation or denial, therefore, especially since the French rider is also in contact with Suzuki and, of course, KTM.
