The reds of Ducati seem to be brooding. The Czech comeback in the form of Marc Márquez crushing the qualifications with style and dominating the race with art has shaken up the men of Borgo Panigale whose start we are desperately awaiting. A bad spiral whose exit could be found in Austria. This will be the next meeting on the MotoGP calendar. Since the category has been in this Red Bull Ring, it has always been a red Desmosedici that wins in the end. What hope for a reprieve for the Italians? They themselves doubt it!

The red house is ready to collapse on itself. The ambitions at the start of the season were immense but they dissolved in the ruthless domination of a Marc Márquez at the top of his art. So much so that nothing is certain anymore Ducati. This is felt all the more as the Austrian Grand Prix approaches, which for three years has been a formality. But this year, it will be a different story.

An anguish that the official Danilo Petrucci admits: “ I hope not, but I fear our dominance there will no longer be relevant. Our opponents have improved a lot from this point of view and unfortunately we can no longer count on what we experienced in past years. It will be a race like the one in Brno, and we will have to fight for the podium if we want to keep a minimum of hopes open for the championship ».

Petrux, however, had a bit of a refresher during the day of test in Brno which followed a Czech meeting all the more complicated as it had been mourned by the sudden disappearance of the Ducati press officer, Luca Semprini : " It went better than race day. We were calmer and we made comparisons to see if anything was really happening. It's an improvement. We had this weather that we didn't have over the weekend and it was a bit of a problem for us.".

He finishes : "  At the end I was quite fast, I never put soft tires, I always used the medium, I was quite fast and I'm happy ».
