MotoGP: Replacement of Luca Cadalora by Idalio Gavira alongside Valentino Rossi, it's almost done!

The press release does not yet formalize the arrival of Idalio Gavira as coach of Valentino Rossi, but his place is now taken within the SKY VR46 team by Andrea Locatelli, as the rumor wanted it since the MotoGP tests in Jerez.

There are therefore serious reasons to think that it is now only a matter of time to confirm the name of Luca Cadalora's replacement who has just spent three years analyzing and trying to perfect the Doctor's piloting.

In the meantime, the Italian team confirms its organizational chart: “Pablo Nieto is confirmed for the fifth consecutive year at the head of Sky Racing Team VR46 as Team Manager, in Moto2 and Moto3.
Luca Brivio is confirmed as team coordinator, while Roberto Locatelli, who will replace Idalio Gavira, will be the new VR46 Riders Academy rider coach. Roberto was the technical voice of Sky Sport MotoGP HD in Moto2 since 2016 and was 125cc World Champion in 2000.”

Sky Racing Team VR46 lines up this year Luca Marini et Nicholas Bulega in Moto2 as well as Dennis Foggia et Celestino Vietti in Moto3.
