MotoGP, back to school in Sepang: ask for the full program of activities!

That's it, finally: the 2019 season starts tomorrow after two very long months without a Grand Prix motorcycle having revved its engine anywhere other than in the tunnel. Gleinalm in Jerez or inside the factories concerned.

Like every year, the start of the school year takes place in Sepang but this time, arrival of the Petronas Yamaha SRT team Obviously, the Malaysian tanker's troops have already been bursting with incessant activity since last Monday in Kuala Lumpur.

So here is our calendar of current events in the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur, with the main information we have at the moment.

Monday January 28: Presentation of the Petronas teams
Tuesday January 29: Meetings of Petronas pilots with the press
Wednesday January 30: Meetings of Petronas drivers with fans

Thursday January 31: Visit to the Petronas factory for the drivers of the team concerned. Press conference and meeting with fans for Hafizh Syahrin (Red Bull KTM Tech3).
Friday February 1 to Sunday February 3: MotoGP Shakedown. All the test riders are expected (except Dani Pedrosa, of course), as well as KTM (Factory and Tech3) and Aprilia Gresini who benefit from the Concessions. Hafizh Syahrin is expected all 3 days, the other starting drivers only one or two out of the three. No time will be available. Sunday February 3: Presentation Suzuki Ecstar at 11 o'clock.
Monday February 4: Monster Yamaha Presentation in Jakarta (Indonesia). Streaming available on MotoGP.com and our website.
Tuesday February 5: The Sepang track should be used for the filming of a Petronas video clip MotoGP with Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Quartararo.
Wednesday February 6 to Friday February 8: IRTA MotoGP test. All official drivers are expected except Jorge Lorenzo, replaced by Stefan Bradl. Track open from 3:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. French time. No live broadcast but Live Timing on MotoGP.com and “article Live” on our site. Pilot press releases and statements. Free entry to the stands.
