Davide Brivio

Joan Mir, former MotoGP world champion with Suzuki in 2020, is having complicated days at Honda. Since his forced integration after Suzuki's withdrawal from Grand Prix racing, Mir has struggled to achieve positive results with the RC213V. As his contract with Honda approaches the end of this season, it seems unlikely that he will renew his commitment to the Repsol Honda Team, especially as more attractive options present themselves.

According to information from Sky Sports, Joan mir seriously considering joining a satellite team, with the TrackHouse Racing managed by Davide Brivio as a possible destination. Brivio, who previously worked with Mir in Suzuki during its title-winning season in 2020, recently joined this North American satellite structure and is looking to revolutionize the team.

Mir, openly expressing his dissatisfaction with the performance of the RC213V, already seems ready to leave Honda, regularly criticizing the lack of results. He could thus follow in the footsteps of Marc Marquez which also made the transition from an official team to a satellite team.

However, Joan Mir is not the only one in the sights of Aprilia's men

TrackHouseUnder the direction of Brivio, target not only Mir which has alex rins et Joe Roberts, the latter being a particularly attractive option for the North American structure which wishes to integrate an American driver into the premier category on a Aprilia.

The changes would not only concern Mir, since Raul fernandez et Miguel Oliveira, currently at TrackHouse, could also see their positions called into question in this dynamic of team renewal.

As the season progresses, Joan mir finds himself at a crucial crossroads in his career, with the opportunity to leave behind the challenges encountered at Honda to embrace a new, potentially more promising chapter with TrackHouse Racing.
