Massimo Rivola is the highest field representative of the Aprilia MotoGP project and, for the first time since taking office, he can look forward to a season with two top riders on his RS-GP. A satisfaction coming from the hiring of a Maverick Viñales in break with a Yamaha factory which also left him free of any commitment from now on. A great opportunity on paper but which will have to be verified in reality, as the Spaniard's character can do as much damage to a factory as his talent on the track can do good to a manufacturer...
Massimo rivola provided elements of understanding of the new situation at Aprilia marked by the arrival of Maverick Vinales. The latter, by slamming the door of a factory Yamaha who also did not fail to show him the direction of the exit, proclaiming to anyone who would listen that he was looking for a project where he would be the center and within which he would be pampered, even if he was there- he much less paid. Rivola: “the door is still open for Dovizioso”
Through " take this test ", the Italian means going to Misano on August 31 instead of Dovizioso.
