The Le Mans race relaunched a MotoGP championship where everything has to be redone. At the end of the five Grands contested, there are three contenders for the title who each claim an error while two of them have a slight advantage over the third thanks to two achievements. Lorenzo, Marquez and Rossi are thus united in 12 points before attacking an Italian Grand Prix which will be colorful.

Car Valentino Rossi will arrive at home and in front of his public who have not remained insensitive to the enmities created since the epilogue of the last campaign. It will be recalled, in this respect, that fans of Marc Márquez were invited by the official driver's club to stay at home rather than travel to Mugello which would, for them, be a risk area.

That said, while many thought that the end of the 2015 season combined with that of all the hopes of a tenth title for an aging Doctor, it is clear that this is not the case. The man from Tavullia is still in the race, and even more so than ever. He has already signed a new two-year lease for Yamaha, his teammate Lorenzo has already secured his future at Ducati and Marc Márquez regrets a Honda blatantly lacking in acceleration.

The opportunity is therefore great for a VR46 which is already mobilizing its compatriots for its national meeting: “ Mugello is something fantastic. I love the track, the atmosphere, but it's also a more complicated Grand Prix than the others because you have more pressure. We will show up in good shape and our bike is in the running ».

A level that the nine-time winner also attributes to Michelin tires: “ this year, with these new rubbers, everything is different. You have to be very careful or you end up on the ground. But with these Michelins, I believe I can be faster. So I can't wait to go to Italy ". The 2016 title will perhaps be a little more down to skill than the previous ones. And on paper, it's Red who counts the most.
