In 1'32.571, fabio quartararo signs the first reference. He is followed by his team Morbidely which is half a second away... Márquez et Casa Particular in Viñales follow, Red closes the top 5 at Pol Espargaro. His teammate John Zarco is eighth behind Mir. Kidneys and the two official Ducatis are behind. Nakagami brings up the rear.

Quarterly is third. Morbidely follows as Márquez who fails to hang on with Red seventh behind Dovizioso and in front zarco. Rins, Mir, Nakagami et Pirro follow. It will be recalled that zarco will fall three places on the grid on Sunday, to serve a penalty imposed at Silverstone.
