In the Honda paddock, a wind of change is blowing, notably with the creation of a new duo composed in the box by Joan Mir and Santi Hernandez, the latter starting from scratch after years of close collaboration with Marc Marquez. Even before the Qatar Grand Prix kicked off, Hernandez shared his impressions and goals for this new association. During a video interview for Honda Racing, he spoke about the challenge of adapting Mir to a new work organization.
« Work with Joan mir after all these years alongside Marc Marquez, it's entering a whole new dimension », explains thus Santi Hernandez. " What reassures me about Joan is his willingness to learn and experiment. His speed of adaptation requires us, as a team, to offer him all the support and confidence he needs in this new organization which is still foreign to him. ».
He adds : " so far I am very satisfied with our collaboration. Our goal, obviously, is to aim for the heights, even if the current circumstances are far from ideal ».

Hernandez then detailed the strategy deployed by the team MotoGP to cope with the particular conditions of Losail: “ here, the circuit plays tricks on us.
