Following the very spectacular fall suffered by Fabio Quartararo in FP2 of the British Grand Prix, we were able to reach Eric Mahe, his manager, to get news of the situation of the official Yamaha rider.

This reassured us, despite the images broadcast live showing the French pilot holding his left leg.

Eric Mahé, can you give us information on Fabio's state of health after his spectacular fall?

Eric Mahe : “I've just come out of the mobile clinic where I know the doctors a little, having had quite a bit of damage myself. I have some knowledge there and that's why I go there. In fact, Fabio has no fracture. According to the medical profession, he has a small ligament in his left ankle that is slightly distended. It bothers him when he walks but it doesn't bother him when riding the motorcycle. We can therefore imagine that tomorrow, he will wake up a little stiff and a little painful, but apparently of no consequence for riding a motorcycle. »

Rather reassuring news for the leader of the world championship who, in the heat of the moment, reacted superbly by achieving the best time of the day after his fall, but who will nevertheless perhaps experience a more difficult day tomorrow...
