However, he still managed to reach the top 10 in Practice, which meant he qualified directly for Q2.

Bagnaia was quite satisfied with his Friday in England. Qualifying for Q2 puts a smile on his face, even if it's only seventh place he's talking about. « In the end it went well, I managed to get into the top 10 and into Q2.At the end of the session, we took a small step forward that helped me. Since the beginning of the year, he has constantly missed the previous model, the formidable Desmosedici GP24 that Alex Marquez currently rides. He would love to go back to it, but can't. « Unfortunately, I still don't have a good feeling with the bike, especially with the frontIt's very difficult to go fast or ride cleanly; you have to enter the corners very hard with less braking than last year, when I could brake flat out. It's not possible to go back to GP24, because obviously there are things that are regulated and can't be changed. What I miss compared to last year is being able to brake even in corners, very hard.. This year, in general, I see that those with the 24 do it, while we, with the 25, cannot, so it's a bit limited" he added.

 

 

The Italian tries, but can't do it. "I've tried everything, but so far, nothing worked, except today where we made a slightly unusual change and it worked a little better. I think we took a small step forward today, Tomorrow we will try to go even further in this direction and perhaps this will help us a little more. » he concluded.
