The Thai rider, who has already been discharged, is now beginning his rehabilitation in Barcelona, with a medical scheduled for next Tuesday to validate his participation in the French GP (May 9-11).
The operation, common in MotoGP, took place without complications. Chantra, who crashed during the MotoGP test at Jerez on April 28, was suffering from compartment syndrome, a common problem under heavy load. Released from hospital, he is undergoing an intensive recovery program to be ready for Le Mans. His condition will be reassessed before the trip.
