Joan Mir comes to Jerez for the Spanish Grand Prix with only five points scored in three Grands Prix and therefore six races. Joan mir added : " moving from Austin to Jerez represents a very big change in terms of developments and requirements, but I always felt comfortable there. I'm also looking forward to the post-race tests, a day which will be useful to concentrate solely on our work and my driving ". The official Honda is the last factory driver currently ranked in the championnat.
