“A penalty inflicted by clowns” publicly expressed the yet politically correct Francis Bagnaia after being pushed back 3 places on the starting grid for the Italian Grand Prix MotoGP at Mugello, a Enea Bastianini who refuses to carry out his sanction, a fabio quartararo trying to emphasize to the FIM MotoGP stewards thatEqually, their responses were disparate to say the least., Johann zarco more than recovered in Jerez, anger is definitely brewing against the decisions of Freddie Spencer and his two acolytes, and even seems to have amplified during the Italian weekend...
Hervé Poncharal himself, nevertheless president of the IRTA and in this respect fully guarantor of respect for the Grand Prix authorities, protests against sanctions that no one understands, due to lack of precise explanations from the besieged recluse in their turn. ivory (see our exclusive file here).
Shocked by the double Long Lap inflicted on Daniel Holgado during the Moto3 race, the boss of the Tech3 team explains:“At the start of the first race, Daniel Holgado and Jacob Roulstone both got a good start and built their race in the lead group, but unfortunately the race was stopped by a red flag. On the new start, Dani got a good start and didn't do anything wrong in the first corner while he was just tight with other drivers. Unfortunately, another pilot hit him and fell, dragging another pilot with him. We rewatched this incident several times in slow motion, it was obvious that it was a simple racing event. We were incredibly shocked when Dani received a double penalty for a long lap, it ruined his race, and it will have a big impact on his title race. We contacted race management and were unable to get any explanation other than a simple “ambitious/irresponsible driving maneuver”. I invite everyone to review this incident and explain to me why it deserved a double one-lap penalty. We didn't have any other explanation, and I think when a championship is at stake, it's a real shame and a lack of respect from the race management. I really feel sorry for Daniel Holgado and his team who are working so hard to fight for the title. On the other hand, Jacob Roulstone had another very good race, starting from P7 to finish P9. Another solid weekend for our rookie who continues to improve every race weekend, and I'm super happy for him. Well done to Jacob and his team. »
That's it! The man from Bormes-les Mimosas never keeps his tongue in his pocket, even when it concerns an authority. On this occasion, he also received the support of many other team managers, exasperated by the visibly arbitrary decisions of the Race Direction.
On the other side of the door, we are content to hide in total silence.
Business to follow? Without a doubt…
And you, do you still understand the penalties imposed on drivers?
