Honda Racing Corporation (HRC) recently made significant management changes, with Taïchi Honda and Shin Sato replacing Kuwata and Kokubu. As part of the reorganization, HRC will hire Grand Prix rider and Aprilia star Aleix Espargaró as test rider for 2025. Stefan bradl, who finished second at MotoGP at Laguna Seca in 2013, shared his thoughts on this situation: “ I haven't had any sleepless nights, but of course, certain thoughts come to mind when major changes occur at the highest level of HRC leadership. The results of recent years leave much to be desired. We tested many new parts and components, but were unable to improve performance as hoped. However, HRC and the testing team always confirmed that my work was up to par, and I received positive feedback not only from other pilots but also from experienced technicians and engineers »

He adds : " from the start of the year it was clear that they were looking for a second test pilot, and I wondered what this would mean for my position.. At the Spanish Grand Prix, rumors began to multiply. I asked HRC management what this change would mean for me and we quickly found a new verbal agreement for two additional years »
