The RST teams are delighted to announce the signing of Suzuki Ecstar MotoGP test rider and also Suzuki Endurance Team rider Yoshimura SERT Motul Racing, . The winner of the last edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Motos will wear RST's flagship airbag suit using In&motion technology.
Sylvain Guintoli debuted his new RST suit on Monday January 31 during MotoGP winter testing in Malaysia.
Sylvain Guintoli said : " Racing products with airbag technology have evolved significantly in recent years. I feel like it's the right time to start a new collaboration with RST, the suits have progressed enormously. When you're falling at 240 km/h, you need to have a suit that can handle the bumps and slides. This is very important, not only for performance, but for driver safety. »
Zoe Turner, head of the racing department, said: “ This is fantastic news for us. We are so proud that a rider of Sylvain's quality trusts RST to supply him with his suits this year. We look forward to supporting him in his activities as a development rider in MotoGP and as a rider in the EWC endurance championship. »
