After seven seasons in MotoGP on a Honda RC213V, Takaaki Nakagami bows out as a racing driver. At his last Grand Prix in Barcelona, Nakagami said goodbye to the paddock with dignity, ready to begin a new phase of his life.
The weekend of Nakagami started like a fairy tale with a first place in free practice. However, in the race, the Japanese finished 17th, three positions behind his teammate Johann zarco.
