“Yes, I'm really excited to start a new season with Idemitsu and LCR. Since the winter season, I have been preparing to be in good physical condition to be able to do a lot of laps during the Sepang tests. Yes, I'm very excited to be at the first race in Qatar. »
What do you think are the strengths that you will bring to the project?
“This year is my 7th season in MotoGP and I have a lot of experience with Honda bikes and also, you know, with the same team, the 7th season with the LCR. So I know the other members of the team very well and, as I said, I know the Honda very well since 2018. And every year the bike evolves, the bike always goes faster. I explained to HRC Honda "please take my information to help development", because I think my strong point is that I am able to understand what is the difference between small parts or small adjustments . And I'm able to explain the differences on the bike. »
It is clear that Honda has brought a lot of new parts for 2024. I would like to know what is your short term and long term goal?
“Of course my goal, especially for this season, the 2024 season, is I want to win a race, of course, the first victory, and then, of course, get on the podium. I'm focusing on myself for this season, you know, to achieve my goal, the first victory in MotoGP. »
