The conference preceding the Czech Grand Prix MotoGP the Brno circuit hosted Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing), Peter Acosta (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) and Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team), respectively 1st, 4th and 5th in the championship.

After a triumphant Mugello, the championship leader had a very frustrating weekend at Balaton, due to his own teammate's mistake.
His podium finish in the Sprint race allowed him to increase his lead from 17 to 20 points, but clearly in the medium term the danger seems to come more from Marc Marquez, who gained 30 points in Hungary…

🎤 Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to the Brno circuit for the Monster Energy Czech Republic Grand Prix, the ninth round of the 2026 MotoGP World Championship. It's time for the pre-weekend press conference with a particularly impressive trio: Marco Bezzecchi, Pedro Acosta and Marc Márquez.
Marco Bezzecchi leads the world championship by 20 points and already has four Grand Prix victories this season. He finished second here in the Czech Republic last July.
After a brilliant double podium finish in Hungary, we welcome Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider Pedro Acosta. Fourth in the world championship, he finished second in the Sprint and third in the Grand Prix here eleven months ago. Pedro will be contesting his fiftieth MotoGP race this weekend.
And, after his magnificent double at Balaton Park, we welcome the reigning world champion, Ducati Lenovo Team rider Marc Márquez. His victory in Hungary was the 100th of his Grand Prix career, and here at Brno last summer, he won both the Sprint and the Grand Prix.
Gentlemen, welcome to all three of you!

🎤 Marco, we'll start this press conference with you. After the emotional peak at Mugello, Balaton was obviously a frustrating experience due to circumstances beyond your control.
This is the first opportunity we've had to speak to you since Balaton Park. You took a very heavy hit in that first-corner incident. First of all, how are you feeling? And secondly, how frustrating was it to lose so many championship points through no fault of your own?
Marco Bezzecchi: "I'm fine. I'm fine. Obviously, as you said, it was a big impact, especially on the right side of the body.
My right hand and right leg were the things that worried me a bit more. Fortunately, my hand was fine. I had some tests done and everything was normal. So, after three or four days, the pain had practically completely disappeared.
I had a minor muscle problem in my leg, a small tear, but fortunately, nothing serious. It's still a bit painful, but I don't think it will affect my riding. I hope so. I haven't been able to ride a motorcycle at home these past few days.
So, tomorrow morning will be the first time since the fall. But in any case, in the end, thankfully, everything is fine.
Of course, Sunday was a difficult day. But despite everything, we had had a good weekend up to that point, and now that's all in the past. We need to focus on this round and the ones to come.

(I.e. Just before continuing, Marc, Aprilia boss Massimo Rivola, said that Balaton had been a cold shower. After Mugello, sometimes these kinds of moments can change the atmosphere in the garage a little. This can change the relationship between teammates. What is your opinion on what comes next? Do you think anything will change after what happened in Balaton?
" No. »

🎤 Short and sweet. Good answer. Okay, let's move on to this weekend. Marco, Brno seems like a great place to bounce back.
It's a fast, flowing circuit, like Mugello where you were extremely strong recently. So, to what extent does your performance at Mugello give you confidence to come here and fight for the win?
"As you said, this circuit is completely different. It's very beautiful. I really like it a lot. It's extremely fun to ride a MotoGP bike on it. We can fully express the power of the motorcycle."
So I'm very, very happy to be racing on this circuit. Of course, last year here I was quite fast. We had a really good race with Marc and Pedro.
So I hope we can have another good battle and try to be quick as well.

🎤 Pedro always says that his bike is a bit behind yours and that your bikes, Aprilia and Ducati, are fighting each other. Do you agree with him?
I mean, do you think your motorcycles are close to each other and that his motorcycle is a little behind yours?
We know that in MotoGP everything comes down to a few tenths of a second, but do you agree with him or not?
"This kind of question is always very difficult to answer because in the end, I have never tried his motorcycle, he has never tried my motorcycle and, for the moment, it is true that we are doing a very good job.
So, for us, it's important and it's also what we focus on. We don't focus much on others; we simply try to focus on ourselves and work in the best way possible for ourselves.

🎤 Can you explain how you turn the page after a big fall, a fall that can be frightening?
Alex Márquez told us today that he wanted to watch the video of his crash in Catalonia so that he could turn the page and move on.
So, how do you handle those moments?
"The best thing you can do is get back on the bike and try to enjoy riding. In the end, that's what we love to do."
It is true that the risk is always present, but we have known that since the moment we started.
So, for my part, every time I fall, I try to get back on the bike as quickly as possible.

🎤 I have another question about the last race, the first turn incident.
From what we understand, there could be a ban on holeshot devices from Silverstone onwards, if I'm not mistaken.
What do you think of this? Do you think it could reduce the risks when approaching the first turn?
"It's difficult to say. I think it's certainly something we should try before saying it's the solution. Ultimately, it's a good proposal that we've had, that we've received."
And I think we're going to start trying it, but ultimately, the only way to find out if it's better or not will be when we've tried it.
Therefore, I don't think the Balaton incident was due to the devices, but ultimately, it could certainly be a solution, though it's difficult to say without having tried it.

(I.e. Who will win the World Cup? And you have the right to say England.
"Football? Sorry (sign of disinterest)!"
Definitely not England. I'm hoping for Brazil.
