While his direct opponent was having surgery on his right hand, Enea Bastianini did, however, get the chance to try out a brand new fairing, which Ducati decided to let him and the factory team test. Should we take this as a sign?
After 54 laps, Enea Bastianini is in 9th place in the standings, less than half a second from the fastest, fabio quartararo.
Enea Bastianini: “ I tried a new fairing and the sensations are good. Entering the corner I feel more comfortable, but it will be important to see the data to understand if we have lost something in speed. On this track with so little grip, it was not easy to understand all the features of this fairing. Overall the day was positive, we found something ahead although we are not 100% yet but we are on the right track. »
